Log a record

Goal: log a maintenance event for an existing vehicle.

1. Open the vehicle from the Vehicles page.
2. Go to the History tab.
3. Click the add action to open the record form.
4. Enter the date the service was performed.
5. Enter the mileage at the time of service.
6. Enter notes describing what was done.
7. Optionally add cost.
8. Add one or more classifications - for example, "oil change".
   • Spanner may suggest classifications based on your notes. Confirm or override.
9. Save the record.

What you should see #

The record appears in the vehicle's history list, ordered by date. If the record's classification matches an existing Service Schedule, the schedule's next-due date and mileage reset to the new interval.
